GoFood is the UAE’s first and only homegrown food delivery app and website run by restaurant owners. The idea behind Gofood stemmed from the fact that restaurants were making a loss on every order through the existing delivery apps.
A group of seasoned restaurant operators with over a 100+ years of combined industry experience therefore, came together to deliver a solution that supports both restaurant operators and gave the customer an ethical alternative to the current trend.
Gofood requested us to create video content that could showcase the story behind some of the most famous restaurants in the UAE. Our role was to co-ordinate with the in house Gofood marketing expert to visit the various restaurants in the region and script out a conversation from the owners/managers of the said restaurants.
Upon the success of the Brand story Videos, Gofood reached out to us to create 30second advertisements that made use of specific codecs which would be broadcast on 2 of India’s biggest TV Channels namely Colors TV and Asianews.
We created a short series of 5 successful brand story videos in which we interviewed the owners of brands such as Charleys, Logma, Caesars and Golden Dragon to name a few. The brand videos were a great success and brought in a large volume of organic viewers who enjoyed learning about the brand and the people behind the innovative platform.
We created 4 short advertisements for Gofood to be streamed on Colors TV during the airing of Bigg Boss 2020 and the ASIANET News channel during the airing of the evening news. The videos were well received and succeeded in conveying the core message of the brand which thereby resulted in an increase in app downloads.
